That's been the case at least since the invention of film, radio and TV (if not always...). But I know that you are talking about new forms of exploring/exploiting this interweaving with more powerful hi-tech means and marketing strategies.

Personally, I hate the idea, not being a player of computer games or even a fan of TV. But I can't help giving you this tip: I live in a town at the edge of the Black Forest that would lend itself perfectly to this kind of nonsense, because it already has costumed festivals, a "medieval" setting, and a certain notoriety worldwide as the place where the historic Faust died (so they say...) and where geothermal drilling dramatically demonstrated what could go wrong when used unavisedly (the Old Town now really looks like one). I'm sure they could use the publicity and the money. I prefer not to mention its name, but you will find it quickly enough with any search engine. I have no other interest in such a venture than philosophical, but you may, if you wish, contact me at denkmaler(at)t-online.de.

Re: Private: Storyworlds: Cooperation in Transmedia – how does it work?

A recent survey adds some interesting insights: 41 per cent of publishers outsource ebook production, 45 per cent do it inhouse http://bit.ly/1b8nqrv

Re: Private: India: Turning digital problems into opportunities

arun is the man

Re: Private: Cloudary: A Chinese online literature platform is using cooperation to conquer the market

Change in publishing happens quickly: Meanwhile, Shanda has cancelled its IPO
and Cloudary announced a cut in staff http://www.chinatechnews.co...

Re: The Publishers Training Programme

Mera Director itna Mota kyun ho gaya ?
